I realize that this photo of drool isn’t the best photo, but it does show who dogs really are and for that I love it! More importantly though, I wanted to talk a bit out studio options that are available for pet portraits. With winter and grey skies upon us this is a great time of year to shoot indoors. And it just so happens I have a great little space to shoot in. I brought in Berkeley and Bear to help me show you some of the options that are available.

Well the Victoria Adoptables Calendar is finally here! Yippeeee! First a few thank you’s- to Carol at Victoria Adoptables for all the work she does.  To the owners of these wonderful pets. To Shake a Paw Greetings for the cute holiday icons. And to Metropol for the fantastic printing.

If you live in town and would like to purchase a copy you can head on down to the Diamond Dogs Daycare and Grooming at 106 Ontario Street with cash or cheque only (made payable to Victoria Adoptables). Or you can get in touch with Carol through the Victoria Adoptables website.

Calendars are selling for $15 – no tax – as VADR is a non-profit.

Here’s a peek at it.

Jagger and Miya are proof that even within one breed of dog you are bound to get a lot of variety in personality. I felt a little bad for Miya, because Jagger’s personality is sooooo big, he really stole the show. Luckily their human, Monika,  fully understands this and wasn’t at all surprised that her little man took up most of the spot light. And speaking of humans, Monika is the woman behind 2 Paws Up Dog Sports and if you think you and your dog might be interested in learning some agility, this is the woman to talk to.
