Fern works with her Mom, Dr. Dudzic at the Oak Bay Pet Clinic. We had a great time up at Macaulay point, even though it felt like we might all be blown away into the ocean.

A couple weeks ago I had the joy of photographing a whole pack of dogs and the lovely ladies who run Top Dog Daycare and Spa in Esquimalt. These ladies are all around AWESOME and were a lot of fun to work with. If you are looking for a great place for your dog to go while you are at work these ladies not only do great grooming but have a great little pack of dogs they regularly watch. My own dog, with all his imperfections, was well respected by all the dogs during this shoot.

A HUGE thank you to all the wonderful ladies involved in this shoot!

I stopped by Cook Culture this weekend and was saddened to discover that their Shop Dog Bert had passed away. Bert was one of the sweetest Jack Russell Terriors I’ve ever met and I was happy to hear that even with a lymphoma diagnosis she was a happy dog even in the last days of her life. She was also a champion runner, regularly running anywhere from 10-25 miles with her owner. Here is a look back at some photos I took of her last year. Bert – you will be missed!

Miley likes to play hide and seek. When I first met her owner Miley was quietly waiting in her bag and I was very surprised to see her jump out and greet me. The second time Miley came to the studio she was hiding in the hallway and it took her owner and I a good 20 seconds to figure out where she was. Once she was done with the hiding game, she was a great sport in front of the camera. We had a great time at this shoot, both in the studio and around downtown.
